How Do You Make Brownies Without A Mixing Bowl?

0

We like the idea of “less is more”. You don’t need a mixing bowl to bake brownies from scratch. We don’t even use salt, soda, or baking powder, and our brownies are “to die for” delicious. Make sure that the oven rack is near the middle of the oven and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 inch square cake pan with shortening or vegetable oil spray. In a heavy medium saucepan, melt the butter and the chocolate over low heat. The butter will melt more quickly, so stir the mixture slowly in order to melt the chocolate quickly. When the mixture has melted, turn off the burner and take the saucepan off the heat. Place the saucepan on a potholder on the counter. Stir the sugar into the melted chocolate and butter. Stir the eggs into the batter one at a time, and when they are thoroughly combined add the vanilla. Add the flour, chocolate chips and nuts all at once and stir until the ingredients are blended. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and bake the brownies for 30 minutes.
