How Do You Make Brown Sugar Cookies?
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. • Add butter or margarine to mixing bowl. • Add brown sugar and egg to butter and beat until smooth. • Add vanilla, baking powder and salt. • Beat. • Add flour slowly to the butter mixture. • Add spices if using. • Lightly dust a surface with flour. • Roll out cookie dough to 1/8-inch thick. • Cut out cookie dough using favorite cutters. • Grease baking sheets. • Place cut out cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets. • Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies test done. Cool cookies on wire baking racks.
