How Do You Make Bread In A Frying Pan?
If you like the idea of freshly baked bread, but you just don’t have the time to mix, roll and knead, try making a quick batch of bread in the frying pan. It’s delicious, takes only a few minutes to put together and cook, and the smell will fill your house like old-fashioned bread. Step 1 Place a small amount of all purpose flour in a bowl. If desired, add equal parts of buckwheat flour, whole wheat flour or any other flour of your choice. Step 2 Add enough salt to the flour to flavor. Step 3 Stir in enough tap water to make a soft dough. Knead it in your hands like play dough, and form it into a round, thin shape. Step 4 Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan and cook the bread in the hot oil for a few minutes on each side. Don’t turn the heat too high, because the bread will cook on the outside, but not in the middle. It should take at least 5 to 6 minutes per side.
