Sugar glass, also known as pulled sugar, is a technique that allows sugar to be manipulated into different shapes while keeping a glassy look. Pulled sugar can be blown like real glass to make round objects. This process uses high temperatures, so it’s important to make sure the sugar is cooled before touching it with your hands. Pour 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of corn syrup into a pot. Stir to mix them well. Add two drops of tartaric acid to the pot. Put the pot on the stove and bring the temperature to 320 degrees F. Wait for the sugar to start boiling and turn off the heat. Pour the boiling sugar onto a piece of parchment paper. Let the sugar cool completely on the paper.
