How Do You Make Biscotti From A Brownie Mix?

0

In my personal baking service, I sell cranberry biscotti with white chocolate made from scratch. I taught a small baking class last winter at the local night school and I used this recipe for biscotti from a brownie mix as a fun way to make biscotti in a snap. Biscotti stores well and tastes good on many occasions. It’s great with coffee or tea. Follow these simple steps and you are on your way to making biscotti from a brownie mix. It’s simple and fun so gather all the items you will need before you begin. In a large bowl, combine dry brownie mix, pecans, flour and baking powder; mix well. In a small bowl, whisk egg and egg whites and extract. Add to brownie mixture and stir. Divide dough in half. On a greased baking sheet and with very lightly floured hands shape each portion of dough into a rectangle, approximately 4 inches by 7 inches. Bake at 350 degrees for about 24 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes. Transfer to a cutting board with a serrated knife
