How Do You Make Birds Using PVC Pipe?
PVC pipes are versatile and durable plastic objects used for household water systems, electrical wiring, and even sewer lines. Being durable plastic objects makes them the right material for making arts and crafts from its surface. Crafts that can be made include birds of all shapes and sizes. With the right pipes and tools, you can make your own set of birds using PVC pipes. Draw a pattern of a bird on a piece of paper and cut it out (see resources below.) Once it is cut out, place it on top of your PVC pipe and draw the outline of your bird on the pipe’s surface. Use your hand jig-saw to cut out the bird shape from your PVC pipe. Once the bird has been cut out, sand the edges smooth with sand paper. Put some water on a flat pan and boil it over a stove. You only need enough water to partially submerge the PVC bird.
