How Do You Make Beer-Grilled Pork Chops?
Time to fire up the grill! These chops are so tender and flavorful, if you love pork chops like I do and want to try cooking them a different way, give this a try to add a slightly sweet but tangy kick to your chops! Wash 4 to 6 pork chops, medium to thick center cut chops is ideal; dry with a paper towel. I usually pierce with fork before marinating but it’s not a must. In a bowl add one cup of beer(any brand), 1/4 cup of soy sauce, two tablespoons of brown sugar, and two teaspoons of grated ginger root. Blend well with a spoon and set aside. Take your large plastic bag and add the pork chops, then pour in the marinade mixture. Seal the bag and with your fingers press, or “massage” and turn the bag with side to side motion to evenly distribute the marinade. Refrigerate for 4 to 24 hours. Prepare your grill. Remove chops from bag and discard marinade. Place chops on medium high grill, cover and grill for 15 minutes, turning once.
