Homemade Jerky is hands down the best tasting jerky. If you don’t hunt, or if you prefer beef, you can buy any lean cut at your local meat market for your jerky. However, if you like to hunt, venison makes an amazing jerky because it’s a very lean meat and tastes great. Either way, you’re in for a treat! Cut lean peices of meat into strips. Cut off any excess fat. Mix the dry ingrediants together in a large bowl. Dip the strips into the dry mixture, making sure to coat each piece evenly. Place the strips of coated meat in the plastic bin until you’re ready too hang them. Take your paper clips and unbend them so that they are in an ‘S’ shape. By doing this, you have one end to skewer the meat with and then the other side is used for hanging the meat. Next, you’ll need to find a place to hang your wire.
