How Do You Make BBQ Sauce-Lexington Style?
Lexington style BBQ sauce is a great sauce to use for your cook outs, family dinners and picnics. This recipe is also easy and simple enough to make on a daily basis for dinner at night or for a quick lunch. Your family and friends will be asking for this recipe so that they may make it for themselves at home and for their friends and extended families. This recipe is simple and delicious! It can be used on a variety of meats. These include, but are not limited to, pork chops, pork roasts, pork ribs, bbq, chicken, and beef ribs. Step 1 Combine cider vinegar, ketchup, salt, ground red pepper, red pepper flakes and sugar in a saucepan. Add in 1/2 cup of water to this mixture and stir together. Step 2 Bring mixture to a boil. Then turn down temperature to bring sauce to a simmer and continue to stir mixture until all of the sugar has dissolved completely. Step 3 Cool and serve over cooked meat. This recipe makes about 1 pint of sauce.
