satay… is usually meat cut in small (1″) , squares mount on presoaked ( 1/2 hr in water to prevent burning)) sticks Brush with peanut sauce ( there are many versions, but you probably want the asian one as this is a Malaysian recipe.) You could also soak the cut meat in a bowl of peanut sauce before mounting it on the sticks. Cook on grill or bake in oven on rimmed cookie sheet with rack.
