How Do You Make Baked Potato Skins?
Ever wonder how bars make their great finger foods. Here is a recipe for those famous potato skins that is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Ready to enjoy in as little as 90 minutes. Step 1 Wash your potatoes in cool water removing all the dust and dirt. Then poke holes into the potato with a fork all around the outside. Cover in a light coating of olive oil and place in the baking pan. Step 2 Put the pan in the oven for about 45 minutes at 225 degrees. Keep turning them every 15 minutes to make sure they are cooking evenly. You should be able to poke with a fork and slide it out easy when they are done. Remove from oven and allow the potatoes to cool. Step 3 Once cool cut each potato in half and use a spoon to remove the middle of the potato. Leave a small layer of potato on the skin. Cut all skins in half again and place back into the pan. Cover in a light coating of olive oil, thyme, salt and pepper. Step 4 Place pan back in the oven for 30 minutes at 225 degrees.
