How Do You Make Bacon Cracker Snacks?
This is a recipe that you’ll want to try. Believe me, it is better than it looks! This is one of the appetizers that my culinary instructor, Liz Huff, taught one night. It really does “MORPH” into something really good! It’s EASY. Try it! You’ll be surprised… Preheat your oven to 275. On a cookie sheet lay out the crackers and space a few inches apart. Next cut your bacon into strips that are slightly longer than your cracker. The bacon will shrink as it cooks. Place a piece of bacon on each cracker. Sprinkle the top of each with brown sugar. Place in your preheated oven and cook for about 1 1/2 hours. If a higher temperature is used to try to “speed” up cooking time, the brown sugar will burn. I found this out the hard way. Oven temperatures vary so you may need to check often. You may or may not have to leave this in the oven longer. When done, allow to cool then enjoy!
