Transparent backgrounds are useful for Web design. Perhaps you want a logo or image to work seamlessly with the website without having a background that will clutter the website, or you are designing for a client who requested a transparent background. There are several different methods of making a transparent background, each one useful for a different purpose. You can accomplish this with either Photoshop Extended or Photoshop Elements, as the tools needed are basic. Open Photoshop.
