How Do You Make Baby Cookie Bouquets?
Sometimes when hosting a baby shower it is hard to think of creative ideas that have not been done at the last few showers you have attended. These cookie bouquets will add a nice decorative touch to the cake table or make fun centerpieces. They will look so great that your guests will not be able to refrain from helping themselves. Make sugar cookies with baby-themed cookie cutters. Insert a cookie stick into each one. See Resources below for a recipe and guide on how to do this. You can find cookie sticks in the cake decorating aisle of your local craft store. Wrap floral foam or Styrofoam in tissue paper. Wrap it just like you would a present using Scotch tape. Place the wrapped cube in the bottom of the basket. Make sure it fits snugly. Arrange the finished cookie sticks in the basket. Use the tissue paper to fill in the empty spaces between the cookies and improve the basket’s overall look. Tie a decorative ribbon complementing the color scheme around the basket.
