How Do You Make Appliquéd Throw Pillow Inserts?

0

“In this clip I’m going to show you how to make your very own pillow insert. So what I’ve done is take my muslin and laid it out and I’m going to make a 14X14 inch pillow. So when you are making your own pillow insert you want to add two inches to that measurement cause you actually want the pillow to be a little bit longer because you need some room for it to puff up for you to stuff it. So the first thing you are going to do is measure out 17″ and just put a pin there, go down a few inches and measure out 17 again (put another pin) as well as go up a few inches and do the same thing. Then you come from the bottom measure 17″ up and place a pin. Come across then measure 17” up and place a pin so now you can just go ahead and cut it out. This measurement doesn’t have to be exact because you can just fix it when you are going to be sewing it up.
