How Do You Make Apple Cinnamon Christmas Ornaments?

0

This is a fun recipe for kids of all ages. The finished ornaments make a thoughtful gift that smells great, too! Apple Cinnamon Christmas Ornaments are fun and easy to make. This is a craft recipe only, so do not eat the ornaments! Have a variety of cookie cutters handy before starting. In a mixing bowl, combine: 1 – 2.37 ounce container ground cinnamon 1/2 cup warm apple sauce Mix together until it forms a ball. Roll out to desired thickness. A thickness of 1/4-inch works great. Cut with the desired Christmas cookie cutters. Use the end of a pencil to make a hole in the top of the ornament. Place on wax paper and allow to air dry completely. Once the ornaments are completely dry, it’s time to decortate. Embelish with paint, beads, google eyes, etc. or leave plain. Tie a colorful ribbon through the hole. If handled and stored with care, these ornaments will last year after year.
