How Do You Make Apple Butter Pork Chops?
This is tooooo easy and it’s a variation of a recipe of mine that was published in Southern Living Magazine. Place the thawed country style ribs in a crock pot. I like to keep meats in the very center of the crock pot if possible. Meat cooks faster than vegetables in slow cookers. Pour in the apple butter. I like to turn the meat over and over in the apple butter, making sure it gets coated. Pour in everything else except the onions. Place the onions around the sides of the crock pot, sprinkling a few onto the meat. Cook for 3 hours on high. Uncover, stir and turn ribs a few times. Put your tongue back in your mouth. Cover, turn heat to low and cook 2 more hours or until meat falls apart with a fork. To turn some of the yummy sauce into a grave, scoop out one cup and put it in a small skillet. Heat on medium until it bubbles. Add 1 TBS All Purpose Flour, stirring constantly. This mixture will be ready in less than 5 minutes. When it’s slightly thinner than you think you want it remove
