How Do You Make Any Raw Nut Milk?
Nut Milk is the one of the easiest things to make! It’s a great source of calories, protein, good fats; good to use in place of milk in recipes; and is healthy and fresh! You can soak the nuts overnight first if you want, or just blend this up on the spur of the moment. Some of the best nuts to use: almonds, brazil nuts, cashews, walnuts. You can also use seeds (sesame, sunflower, pumpkin…) Feel free to use multiple nuts or seeds in one recipe. Blend the water and nuts thoroughly in a strong blender like a Vitamix. The mixture should be white and creamy, with finely ground nuts floating throughout. Strain it through cheesecloth or a nutmilk bag. Squeeze hard to get all the milk out. You’ll be left with very little nut pulp! Add agave, vanilla, cinnamon and other flavorings to this mixture and enjoy!
