How Do You Make And Use A Large Bubble Wand?

0

All children love to play with bubbles; however, sometimes the small bubble wand that comes with a bottle of bubble solution is just not big enough. If you want to experiment and make larger than life bubbles, all you need is a few simple items from around the house. Slip a piece of string through two large drinking straws and then tie a knot in the string. Make sure that you leave slack on the string between the straws. While you can experiment and make a number of large bubble wands, start off by making the slack in the string about half as long as one straw. Pour your bubble solution into a bowl or shallow baking tray. Pull the two straws apart to form a rectangular shape. Make sure that you hold the ends of the straws lightly on the outsides so that your fingers do not interfere with your bubble making. Dip the straws and string into the solution, keeping the straws pulled apart tightly. Pull the bubble wand out of the solution quickly, pulling up to push air against the thin film
