How Do You Make (And Cook On) A Fire Pit?
One of the best things about outdoor camping is cooking on an outdoor fire pit. There are all different kinds of outdoor fire pits but most are made for burning wood or charcoal. They make a variety of enclosed gas fire pits for the patio or backyard if you want to go that route at home too. At most campgrounds, outdoor fire pits are make of bricks or rock built up around the outside of the pit so that the fire cannot escape, and you can cook in the middle where there is usually an iron grate.
