Lay the shirt out flat and cut up from under to the sleeve to 1 or 2 inches from the collar on either side. Put on the shirt and pull it tight to the desired fit and mark this point. Mark the shirt’s length so that it rests comfortably on your hips. Take off the shirt and cut along the bottom line to shorten the length.
