The oilcloth should be 47″ wide. Measure the radius of the table you want to cover. The radius is measured from the center of the table to its edge. Turn the oilcloth over to the mesh underside. Mark a semicircle on the cloth. Cut a string to the length of the table’s radius plus 15 inches for the drop. Tie a marker to the end, and hold the middle of one edge of the table cloth. Swing the marker from one edge to the other by marking on the underside of the oilcloth. Repeat this step on a second piece of oilcloth. Make scallop edging along the tablecloth bottom. Put masking tape on a dinner plate where you want the scallops to be traced. Place the dinner plate on the lines drawn in Step 4. Trace the dinner plate from one piece of tape to the other.
