How Do You Make An Origami Treasure Chest?
Origami treasure chests, also known as origami cubes, are appropriate for people at all levels of skill in the art of paper folding. Origami cubes are often referred to as treasure chests because small items can be placed inside them. Origami treasure chests can be a fun and unusual way to give gifts. Origami paper comes in different colors and prints, enabling you to customize your treasure chest to suit each gift recipient. Place your origami square colored side down and turn it so that you have a diamond (points are at top, bottom and sides). Fold the bottom corner up to the top corner, forming a triangle, and crease tightly. Unfold your triangle. Fold the right corner to the left corner. Only crease the middle point, and then unfold. Fold the bottom tip into the middle, at the small crease, and then fold the top tip down to the middle. Fold the bottom edge up to the middle, as you did with the tip, and crease. You should have made a rectangle, of sorts. Repeat with the top section.
