Oatmeal has a lot of great benefits. It can be used as a wonderful face scrub. If you add a few ingredients you can make something that will be very healthy for your skin! Cook Your Oatmeal. Cook 2/3 cup of oatmeal in 1 cup of boiling water for about five minutes. Drain off any excess water. Add your additives to the mix. Each of these is recommended, but not required for a good scrub. * 1 Tablespoon of Honey: Moisturizes and is antibacterial for cleaner, clearer skin * 1 teaspoon of Rosewater: Softens, smoothes, and reduces inflammation * 1 Tablespoon of Aloe Vera Gel: Softens, smoothes, moisturizes, and heals * 3 drops of Tea Tree Oil: Antibacterial to rid the skin of harmful bacteria * 2 drops of Geranium Oil: Balances out oil and dry portions * 2 drops of Lavender Oil: Soothes, Smoothes, and reduces any redness * 3 drops of Vitamin E Oil: Just very good for the skin Mix all the ingredients together really well.
