An Irish Car Bomb is a simple and great tasting drink that you can easily make at home. Whether you’re celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day or simply hanging out with a few friends, this is a drink that can’t be beat. Fill a pint glass half way with Guinness. You can also substitute another Irish stout such as Murphy’s or Beamish. Fill the shot glass half way with Whiskey. You can use any Irish whiskey for this step. Jameson is the most common, but Bushmills, Powers, Tullamore Dew, etc., all work as well. Top off the shot glass with Baileys Irish Cream. Once again, any Irish cream can be substituted. “Off brands” are usually significantly cheaper and generally wont affect the overall experience. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness, chug and enjoy.
