How Do You Make An Insectide Spray Using Hot Pepper?
Unwanted insects are a nuisance in the garden, and can quickly make short work of healthy plants, but many of us elect not to use strong chemicals. Homemade hot pepper spray is a good alternative for many pests, including aphids, hornworms, cabbageworms, caterpillars, and flea beetles, and other pests that can suck the life out of a plant.Any type of hot pepper will do. Chop hot chili peppers into fine bits until you have enough to make about 2/3 cup of chopped peppers. Put two garlic cloves on the cutting board and mince them finely. Bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Stir in the chopped peppers and minced garlic, and let the mixture sit for 15 minutes. Stir in two drops of liquid castile soap into the pepper mixture. The soap will cause the mixture to adhere to the plants long enough to kill the pests. Pour the hot pepper mixture through a strainer, and discard the small bits. Pour the strained liquid into a spray bottle. Test the pepper spray before you spray the entire plant. Althoug
