• Take a pan, and add water, tea or tea leaves, and sugar to it. • Put the burner on low flame. • Heat the tea until it turns a reddish brown colour. • Take Basil leaves and ginger flakes, and crush them together. Add this to the mixture. • Add milk and crushed cardamom to the mixture. • Increase the flame. • Stop the burner when the milk rises to the top of the pan. • Filter all the solid out. Serve hot with biscuits or cakes.
