How Do You Make An Impromptu Umbrella?
At one time or another, we’ve all been caught out in the rain. Getting caught in a torrential downpour without an umbrella can be an uncomfortable experience. depending on what you’re next to when the storm starts, you may be able to improvise a solution. If you’re in your vehicle, you may find helpful materials in the backseat. Or if you’re outside, natural objects like branches may come in handy. Use basic steps to create something that will hopefully keep the rain off your back. Find a wide piece of plastic or any other semi-permeable or impermeable material. This is what umbrella experts would call the “canopy.” The more weatherproof yours is, the better. Cut a canopy with a Swiss army knife, scissors or other device. If you have something like a duffel bag that could be expendable, cut it into canopy form with whatever tools you have handy. Remember, the more weather-proof this material is, the more useful your canopy will be. Find “framing” materials that will stretch your canopy
