How Do You Make An Eye Loop When Making Beaded Jewelry?

0

To attach pendants and other beads to earrings and necklaces, you’ll need to attach an eye loop to thread your wire or string through. Put the headpin through your pendant so that the pendant sits on the flat end of the headpin. Using your chain-nose pliers, grab the headpin just above the pendant and bend the wire away from you, at about a 90-degree angle. Grab the wire at the bend using your round-nose pliers. Turn the pliers toward the bend, then with your fingers coil the wire around one jaw of the pliers so that a loop forms. Use your wire cutters to cut the excess wire, so that the end of the loop meets the pendant. Use an emery board or cloth to smooth any harsh edges.
