How Do You Make An Elbrus Cocktail?
An Elbrus cocktail is a fruity, creamy drink made with pineapple vodka, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth, Midori liqueur-a common melon liqueur often found in margaritas and other fruity drinks and heavy cream. The Elbrus has a somewhat complex flavor, though it is entirely pleasant. The drink does not have too much of an alcohol taste, which some drinkers may like and others may not. There are many variations of the Elbrus cocktail, but this recipe is based on the classic one invented around 1970, though is has been updated just a bit. Fill a cocktail shaker half-full with crushed ice. Add the pineapple vodka, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth, Midori liqueur and heavy cream to the cocktail shaker. Cover the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds. Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish the cocktail with a pineapple ring and serve immediately.
