Look inside your hatching eggs to see if there’s a baby chick or if you need to remove a bad egg from your incubator. Step 1 Cut a 3/4-inch diameter hole in the top of an oatmeal box. Step 2 Place a flashlight inside the box with the light pointing up. Step 3 Turn the flashlight on and replace the lid. Step 4 Remove an egg gently from the incubator and place it over the lighted hole. Step 5 Cup your hands around the egg to see inside the egg.
