How Do You Make An Edible Bouquet?
An edible bouquet is a tasty centerpiece to have at parties, or you can send one to someone as a birthday or a thank you gift. Instead of having a fruit salad, pick some of your favorite fruits, such as melons or berries, to arrange like a floral centerpiece. Cut one fresh pineapple into crosswise slices. Make sure the slices are at least 1/2-inch thick. Start with six slices, then add more or less depending on the size of the bouquet that you want to make. Grab a sunflower-shaped cookie cutter, and press it into each pineapple slice to create flower shapes. Next, cut one cantaloupe or small watermelon in half. Take one of the halves, then use a melon baller to scoop at least six balls to match the pineapple sunflowers. Slice each melon ball in half and place the flat sides on the center of the pineapple sunflowers. Stick bamboo skewers through the center of the pineapple and melon.
