How Do You Make An Easy Outdoor Changing Room?
Many times families will go to the beach or a public park for a swim and find the changing rooms overcrowded or dirty. Or, they may be far away from restrooms or other changing facilities. A simple, portable changing room can be made from inexpensive supplies that can be purchased from most dollar or discount stores. Purchase a hula hoop and a shower curtain. Make sure the hula hoop is big enough for an adult to stand in. Attach the shower curtain to the hula hoop with the rings that are already attached to it when it is purchased. To set it up, find a tree or other place to hang the hula hoop from. Use a rope or length of clothesline and toss it up over a tree branch. Tie the changing room to the branch and secure the rope to the trunk. If there is no place to hang it, ask someone to hold it as each person needs to change. Remove the changing room easily at the end of the outing. Simply untie the rope, remove the shower curtain from the hula hoop, and pack everything up.
