How Do You Make An Easy Jello Cake Recipe-Jello Poke Cake?
Cake is always a welcome dessert at family gatherings, and this easy jello cake recipe is sure to be a hit. Also known as jello poke cake, this jello cake recipe can be made with any flavor of jello. Our personal favorites are strawberry or orange. Prepare the white cake in a 13x9x2 glass baking dish according to the package directions. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Once the cake has cooled, poke holes throughout the cake with a fork (space out evenly, about 1/2 inch apart). Combine the package of jello with the boiling water until dissolved. Carefully pour jello over the cake, making sure cake is completely covered. The jello will seep into the holes and soak the cake. Cover and set aside in the refrigerator. Mix the vanilla pudding mix and milk until thick. Fold in the cool whip. Spread over cake, cover and refrigerate until jello is completely set, about 4 hours.
