How Do You Make An Easy Gift Basket On A Budget?
Gift baskets are always a hit when it comes to Christmas gifts, wedding showers, baby showers, or even ‘just because’. A pre made gift basket can be quite expensive but you can put one together yourself for a fraction of the cost. People are always thrilled that you hand selected each item for them too. Choose your gift basket. You do not have to stick to a brown, wicker basket. How about a laundry basket filled with supplies for the new bride, or an ice bucket with wine, glasses, and a certificate for some nice cheeses and such? Think outside the box (or basket!). Gather your supplies. Once you have selected a basket, gather the items you want to fill your basket with. Think about one ‘main item’ and several ‘supporting’ items. Also, gather your scissors (for the bow), ribbon, and filler (tissue paper or whatever you want to use). Start with your filler. Place a layer of filler in the bottom of your basket or container.
