How Do You Make An Artists Trading Card (Atc)?

• Cut out squares/rectangles from stiff, tough (but smooth) paper or cardstock. • Compile your supplies in one area. Supplies may include but are not limited to paint, crayon, pastel, marker, pencil, glitter, ribbon, lace, foam, glue, rhinstones, small shells, and so forth. If you plan on using small items on your ATCs such as rhinstones or ribbon, be sure you have plenty to glue. A hot glue gun works best when you wish to attach items. • Lay out newspaper where you wish to work. • Begin working! You may draw, paste, or attach anything you wish. Don’t make them too bulky or attach very many things to them. An ATC should be a reflection of yourself. Cover the entire card. Squeeze in as muct art-work as possible. Make this a mini-masterpiece. Be sure to spend at least 10 minutes on each ATC. • If you used paint, glue, or another wet substance, allow your ATCs to dry before moving or touching. Place the finished ATCs in a photo-album or other safe place where they won’t be tampered with.
