How Do You Make An Appliqued Table Runner?
A sweet snowman table runner will bring a smile to everyone’s faces as you eat your holiday dinner. Making an appliqued table runner is quick, easy and inexpensive, making it the perfect gift or holiday decor. Lay your blue fabric on a flat surface and note the longest and widest sides. Measure a 2-foot strip from the center and cut, leaving the length of the fabric alone. The size of your table runner will, of course, depend upon the size of your table. This project can be easily enlarged or shrunk. Take a dinner plate or pot top and trace four circles from your white fabric with a marker. Make two smaller circles using a tea saucer; these will be the snowmen’s heads. Fold the edges of the blue fabric 1/2 inch toward the wrong side and iron. Sew the edges of fabric down, leaving a long blue rectangle. Iron the entire piece.
