How Do You Make An Angel Christmas Ornament?

0

This cute, little angel is a great way to use up scrap holiday fabric. Adorn your Christmas tree with several of them. Cut a 6 1/4-inch diameter circle out of a piece of shimmery holiday fabric. Apply a seam sealant to the edges of the fabric circle, and let dry. Use a needle and coordinating thread to make a running stitch 1/8 inch from the edge of the circle. Leave thread ends unknotted. Center a 2-inch Styrofoam ball on the wrong side of the fabric circle, and pull thread ends so that fabric is gathered around the ball. Knot the thread ends, and trim thread. Inset a screw eye into the top of a 1-inch diameter wooden ball, and use a fine paintbrush and acrylic paints to apply facial features to the wooden ball. Glue the wooden head onto the top of the covered Styrofoam ball, and hold in place until glue sets. Glue doll hair onto the top of the wooden ball. Arrange hair around the screw eye. Stitch together the short ends of a 1 1/2-inch piece of wire-edged ribbon, right sides togethe
