How Do You Make An Aluminum Foil Fishing Lure?
Next time you have plans to go fishing you might want to make your own fishing lure out of aluminum foil. This is also a good craft project that you can do with the kids before your next fishing trip or while you are on it. Unbend the paper clip by grabbing the inside smaller curved piece and folding it out 180 degrees. Cut a square of aluminum foil approximately two inches larger than the length of your unbent paper clip. Place your paper clip on top of your foil square in the bottom left corner. The length of the clip should run along the bottom edge of the foil and the left side of the clip should be flush with the left side of the foil. You will have a two inch overhang of foil to the right side of the end of the clip. Wrap the foil around the length of the clip several times until the entire square of foil has been used up. You will get the tightest wrap if you keep the foil on a hard surface and turn the clip over into the foil to create each fold. Smooth out the edge by pushing
