Airsoft guns are a popular variant of BB guns. Airsofts shoot plastic projectiles, which are less likely to cause serious injury than traditional metal BBs. These guns may be powered by springs, compressed gas or battery-powered electric motors. Preparation Step 1 Determine if your gun has an “adjustable trajectory” or “adjustable accuracy” feature (check the instructions or box that came with your gun). It should be clearly indicated if your gun has either one of these features. Step 2 Prepare your gun for testing by setting up a target at the desired distance and a firing bench with a gun rest or sandbag to stabilize the gun. The gun may only be accurized for a particular distance and must be readjusted for precision shooting at other distances. Step 3 Test fire your gun at the center of the target.
