The length does not matter that much, but a longer barrel produces a longer shot length. Make sure the edges are smooth and cut evenly. The caps have to fit snugly for this to work. Step 2 Take one of the pipe caps and drill a hole in the middle the same size as the air compressor nozzle. Make sure it fits snugly inside the cap.
