Draw a pattern for your coin purse on a blank piece of paper, leaving a ½-inch allowance on all sides for seams. The shape can be as simple as a semi-circle, as long as 1 edge is a straight, 4-inch line. Cut out the pattern. Cut out 2 pieces of fabric using the pattern by pinning it to the fabric. Sew these 2 fabric pieces with their right sides together, leaving the straight, 4-inch line unsewn.
