Zip folders are mainly used to compress a lot files into one big file. This is mainly used when you want to send files to someone such as documents, pictures, etc. This is a good way to compress and get all of the files without having to worry if you missed a file. Follow the steps ahead: Gather all of the files (the ones that you wish to put in a zip folder) into a new folder or if they are already in a folder skip this step. Name your Folder, label it correctly. Right click on the folder. A new menu will come up. Find “Send to” Go to the next sub menu and click on “Compressed(zipped)folder” Wait for a new folder to appear, it should be a folder with a zipper on it. You now have a zipped folder. You can now share it, store it or rename the folder.
