How Do You Make A Zip File Or Compressed File?
At one point or another many of us have had to send several files to someone whether it is via email, a message board or forum. For some of us creating a zip or compressed file is something we don’t know how to do. Trust me until my then 11 year old child showed me I was lost in the world of files, folders and no zipping in sight. Follow these instructions to create zip or compressed files that will make sharing files much easier. Step 1 Click on the start key on the startup screen of your computer. Click to open your documents. Step 2 Create a new folder. This can be done by clicking on organization in the top left hand corner and then create new folder. Step 3 Drag and drop your files into the new folder. To do this you will left click the file, hold down the left mouse key and drag the file over your folder. To release the file into the folder simply let go of the file. Repeat this step until you have all of the files you want to put in into the folder. Step 4 Right click the folder
