How Do You Make A Wooden Spoon Bouquet?

Create a touch of summer that will last all year round with a mug full of colorful wooden spoon flowers. A wooden spoon bouquet is a great way for kids to create a gift for someone they love, or just to brighten up a coffee table or countertop. Cover your working surface with a plastic tablecloth or a layer of newspapers. Paint the handles of the wooden spoons green with a sponge brush or paintbrush, and place them, not touching one another, in the mug to dry. Be sure they are in the mug with the handles up. Lay the dry spoons on a flat surface, and create petals by gluing the round or oval wooden shapes to the bowl part of the spoon. Allow the glue to dry completely. Paint the front and back of the flowers in your choice of bright colors, and put them back in the mug until the paint dries. Glue several wooden beads in a cluster in the center of each wooden spoon flower.
