Measure 8 inches in from all four edges, and make enough marks to draw a line around the perimeter of the tabletop. Place the framing square on the marks to draw the lines. Set aside for now. Place the two 20-inch MDF pieces on a worktable. Make marks 16 inches from all four edges to give you a 4-by-4-inch square in the center. Next, make a mark in the center of each piece from two edges.
