How Do You Make A Wooden Igloo Yard Decoration?
You are going to learn how to make an igloo yard stake ornament / decoration for the lawn in the eHow tutorial. Have fun and enjoy! Draw a rough draft of the igloo you want on a sheet of paper (so you don’t forget details when you want to redraw it on your wood for a saw outline). After making a rough draft on paper… you are ready to move on to transferring this image onto your sheet of wood. Size of Igloo depends solely on what size you want and how big or small you draw your outline for the saw to trace. Be creative! Once you have drawn the igloo onto the sheet of wood with your marker. Trace the outline with your saw (I prefer a router for this), nice even curves. Only cut the darkened or heavy black areas as outlined in my picture, leaving the inner thin black lines alone for now. (don’t cut them). The door opening is best kept on the igloo and just painted black only, but you can cut it out if you like that style better.
