How Do You Make A Wooden Christmas “Frosty The Snowman” Ornament?
Maybe you’ve seen large homemade Christmas ornaments such as “Frosty the Snowman” or a Christmas tree located outside someone’s home. Now you can learn how to make your very own and do so quite cheaply and still end up with fantastic results. To make a large “Frosty the Snowman”, start out with a 4 x 8 piece of plywood or other sheet of wood at least 1/2″ thick. Layout the large base “snowball” and then layout another one just like it by drawing the shape desired (a circle is good). Next layout the smaller circle to stack on top of the larger one. You only need one of these. By adjusting where you draw the lines for these circles on the plywood, you should find that there is enough room left over to layout two arms. Something like the ones in these pictures of “Frosty”. Next layout the smallest of all circles required. This will be the head. You must keep all of these circles proportioned to each other. Now you need to layout the shape of the hat that “Frosty” wears, too. Using a sabre
