Sometimes a little extra oomph is needed to dress up an otherwise plain window. Perhaps it doesn’t have trim around it, or you just want a more formal appearance. Building a wood window cornice allows you to match the type of molding you have in your home. There are two main ways to build the cornice. Both methods use moldings available at your local lumber yard or home center.
