How Do You Make A Wire Wrap Scroll?
Sculpting wire jewelry is a skill that is easy to pick up. Make wire scrolls to use as links in necklaces and bracelets or to make earrings. You’ll use common jewelery making tools when creating these wire wrap scrolls. Cut a 2-inch piece of wire, using flush cutters. Keep the end of the wire blunt. Grab one end of the wire with round nose pliers. Form a loop in one wire end by rotating the tool 1 1/4 turns. Hold the tail of the wire perpendicular to the chain nose pliers. Grasp the loop on the wire with the back of the pliers. Hold the pliers stationary. Use your thumb of your free hand to press the wire tail against the loop. Wrap the wire as far as you can, without releasing the pliers. Reposition the wire so that the tail of the wire is perpendicular to the pliers again. Wrap the tail of the wire around the coil as far as you can. Continue this process until you have wrapped half of the wire. Make a small loop in the opposite wire end, using the pliers with the rounded tip. Repeat
